DATE AND PLACE
The walk is on Saturday, September 9th, 2023 at The Ocean City Maryland Boardwalk. The event begins at 9 AM. On-Site Registration opens at 8:00 AM. All must check-in at the registration tent and sign a waiver. Each participant will be given a wristband that can be worn during the event. Late arrivals are welcome to join the event at any time.
All must register to participate. Walkers are asked to raise funds for The Walk for Recovery to benefit members of the recovery community, as well as those seeking refuge from addiction.
Online registration closes on September 9th at midnight. On-site registration is available on the day of the event.
All registered walkers will receive a commemorative Walk For Recovery T-shirt and SWAG Bag on the day of the event.
Kids 12 and under can participate for Free with a Paid Registered adult.
We Walk, Run, Bike, Hop, Skip and enjoy the amazing Ocean City Boardwalk. The event is suitable for walkers and non-walkers of all abilities. All are welcome to come and enjoy the event and participate as they feel comfortable. Round trip from the Inlet to the end of the Boardwalk and back is approximately 5 miles.
Free parking is available in several parking lots throughout downtown as well as multiple paid City Parking Lots, including the Inlet Parking Lot, adjacent to the event location. Free parking is also available at the transit station in West OC, with a quick short bus trip to the Inlet.
The event will be held on the Ocean City, Maryland Boardwalk. The location is adjacent to the Life-Saving Museum and the Trolly Depot. Please click on the link below for detailed directions.
MUSIC, FOOD, AND FUN
There will be a refreshments table with water, juice, and fruit available to all participants. There will be music and fun for everyone! Bring the whole family to help raise awareness.
RAFFLES & PRIZES
There will be raffles available at the Atlantic Club, as well as at the event, for purchase with all proceeds benefiting The Walk For Recovery. Raffles will include: Beach Cruisers, Custom Cornhole Boards, Gift Baskets, Spa Days, Gift Cards and so much more. Top Prizes will be awarded to the highest fundrasing Individual and Team, and Most Spirited Team the day of the event.
ALL PRIZES WILL BE AVAILBLE FOR PICKUP AT THE ATLANTIC CLUB ONLY - NO SHIPPING INCLUDED.
